Next week’s econ numbers…

The NFP is going to be interesting but not a good predictor of anything. The market, in gold, is 13% below its August 2009 highs. What we need to recall is that we are likely in a deflation that will last 2-4 years, more or less. In that time period we will do best in bonds, blue chips with a good international foot print and some non US funds. A single shot is VUE, world less the US. The Bernanke hearings today were useless for investors: past sins will be future sins, and Congress has no capacity to save us or our economy. I like WIP global bonds and VUE, and of course, Cash. Best.
